With the latest update coming from the Minster of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, the #asuustrike continues to trend even into day two as Nigerians continue to speak out on Twitter over the lingering closure of schools due to the prevailing spread and second wave of Covid-19 which continues to ravage nations across the world.
We surveyed some reactions online and a few are presented below:
There's no future for a country that has no any concern for its education sector, both the ASUU and FG have contributed a lot in the set back in the education system, the only thing we benefit from is the education and now they're blocking it too. 💔 #asuustrike #university

I still don't understand the concept of suspending school resumption while markets, borders, bars, places of worship are still functional.#asuustrike shattering #university students, like how did we get here?

Who will have thought #university would still be closed and the logo we created last year would still be useful this year,2021 and we’re still at home due to #asuustrike
The only way forward now is protests(physical) ones💪🏿 pic.twitter.com/WrdWdJKcNC— Squar (@tayestylizer) January 12, 2021

My kid cousin gained admission into a Ghanaian university 2 years ago to study a 5 years course while her sis was already in Year 2 in Nigeria and studying a 4 years course.
They're currently both in Year 2 and I can bet it that the one in Ghana will graduate first. #asuustrike
