How To Apply For Your Nigerian Passport Easily Online

The online process of applying for a Nigerian Passport appears will go a long way in making the process easy.

 

 

The Nigerian Immigration System it appears is innovating and making the process of applying for a Nigerian passport smoother and easy.

Before now, the process of applying for a fresh passport or even a renewal was usually cumbersome with applicants having to sit and wait, sometimes I’m the hot sun at the various state liason offices of the agency.
But now, it appears all that is now a thing of the past.
Now, anyone can apply for their Nigerian passport in just give easy steps as outlined below:
Step One: Log on to https://passport.immigration.gov.ng. Users are prompted to select either applying from within Nigeria or outside the country.
After selecting from the two options above, you proceed to the next step.
Step Two: Fill the form and make payment. You are expected to pick two options of either a fresh application or a renewal.
Step Three:  You are to download and print the form and payment slip.
Step Four: Pick your preferred appointment date and time.
Step Five: Print your appointment slip and proceed to the centre for your biometric enrollment and capture.
You can also get assistance via the virtual assistant Chatbot which is located on the bottom right corner of your screen.
Details needed: You should note that your NIN now comes as a mandatory requirement for passport processing.
