Access Bank Dissociates Self From Trending Investment Platform, Warns Investment Public

*Bank management says it has nothing to do with Access Capital Investment Platform
* Warns members of the public from engaging with the platform and its mouth-watering investment offers

Access Bank management has issued a disclaimer regarding an investment offer presently in circulation and offered by a company known as Access Capital Investment Platform which it calls Access Capital Investment products through which it is offering mouth watering offers to members of the public.

According to a notice issued by the bank, Access Bank says it is not associated in any way with the investment platform and that neither does it have any investment products being offered to the public.

In the notice signed by the company secretary, Sunday Ekwochi, the bank noted that its attention had been drawn to the online investment platform and its investment products but says it is informing the general public via the disclaimer that it is not associated with the platform and neither are its subsidiaries, affiliates from the offers of the platform.

Part of the notice reads:

Access Capital Investment Platform is not an affiliate nor subsidiary of Access Bank and it would be at the risk of anyone who invests in any of the Access Capital Investment packages/products, as Access Bank Plc would not be responsible for any loss, damages, refund whatsoever that may arise therefrom.

It noted that relevant law enforcement and regulatory agencies have been informed of the matter.
