Mr Karl Olukotun Toriola today resumes as the Chief Executive Officer of leading telecommunications giant, MTN Nigeria.
Mr Karl’s first day is remarkable as he ends the day with a virtual closing gong ceremony on the floor of the Nigerian stock exchange.

He was announced as the new substantive head of the telecommunications giant late last year, effective March 1st this year.
Mr Karl Olutokun Toriola is the second Nigerian to be so named as the CEO of the telecommunications giant after Mike Ikpoki.
He takes over from Ferdi Moolman who had been the CEO after Ikpoki’s resignation in 2015.
Karl Olutokun comes with a wealth of experience having held a number of senior positions both at the MTN Group and MTN Iran ranging from the Chief Technology Officer at MTN Nigeria and as the Chief Executive Officer at MTN Cameroon.
