Fintech/Banking as a Service provider, TechAdvance has announced a change in its brand identity. The fintech brand is now to be known as Bloc.
Announcing the change in a press statement sighted by Exclusive Africa, the brand says the change is in line with efforts to harmonise its offerings. It also says this announcement is the first in a series of thrilling news it will be announcing in the comin months.
The statement reads:
Two weeks ago, we announced the first release of our product suite, Bloc — which helps startups and other organisations build and scale financial services with our FinTech/Banking as a Service infrastructure in less time.
Now, we are Bloc.
Starting today, we transition from TechAdvance to Bloc. It is the first in a series of thrilling news we’ll be announcing over the coming months.
We did this to harmonise our offerings with our brand.
The decision to become one with our product rides on the back of why we started — to build global infrastructure for African FinTech.
Brand & Comms Lead Praise Philemon said, “we have grown immensely since the inception of TechAdvance in 2009, from only offering solutions in the utility payments space to becoming the only FinTech/Banking as a Service provider in the country backed by a blend of licenses and certification”.
He continued, “Our brand has evolved — now committed to powering other FinTech solutions to success with proprietary and aggregated API infrastructure, and we want it to reflect this growth and the relationships we have with our clients.”
What you should expect from us
Our social media usernames will change to @buildwithbloc. We will introduce a new visual language to reflect this gracious step forward.
Our Banking-as-a-Service API products remain live in beta, with a full release coming by Q4 2021.
Good news comes in three or more. Over the coming months, we will be announcing new updates and releases to our FinTech/Banking as a Service suite, and we are so excited to show you what we’ve built.
Cheers to us, Bloc — the future for African FinTech. Thank you.
