NAF Surgical Team Successfully Carrys Out Laparoscopic Surgery

 

Report coming from the Nigerian Airforce has it that a surgical team led by Squadron Leader Ismail Tsauni of the  Nigerian Airforce Hospital has successfully carried out a laparoscopic surgery on a 54 year old patient.

The patient had gall bladder stones.

According to the report, this is the first laparoscopic surgery in the Nigerian Airforce.

Tweeting about the succesfull surgery via it’s official Twitter handle, the outfit revealed that this is coming barely a week after the recently launched telemedicine portal by the NAF.

It went further to say that this will no doubt reduce overseas medical evacuations and tourism thus saving the country millions of foreign exchange.
