Iretiogo Oke: Meet the Face Behind the Signing of Ebuka and Joeboy as Samsung Brand Ambassadors

So you’ve probably heard and seen the official unveiling of media personality Emeka Obi Uchendu as new brand ambassador of Samsung Nigeria.

Well, what you may not know yet is the brain behind the on-boarding process at the mobile phone giant.
Her name is Iretiogo and she is the Head of Marketing at Samsung Nigeria.
Along with Ebuka, recall that the mobile phone company also recently announced music act, Joeboy as another ambassador of its. This makes it quite a formidable team.
Ebuka is a well known face who has done well for himself all through the years, from his hosting of the ‘Rubbin’ Minds’ talkshow for several years now, to his back to back hosting of the Big Brother Naija show, his dexterity as an entertainer is well known.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is also an ambassador for other brands such as PorkMoney, H2Oh, Budweiser, Gulder.
Joeboy on the other hand is a young artist with quite a lot going well for him in his music career. Signed to Mr Eazi’s Gorilla Sauce Entertainment, he has repeatedly held Nigerians down with hits such as ‘Baby’ and ‘Nobody.
Onboarding such a brilliant personalities takes a brilliant mind and that’s why she deserves some acknowledgments.
Iretiogo Oke joined Samsung  late 2020 and is responsible for driving the overall marketing and communications strategy for Samsung Mobile and the Consumer Electronics division. A consumate marketing professional, she has over ten years of experience in the Integrated and Marketing Communications industry.
Her brand management and Marketing career has taken her round agencies such as Insight Communications (now Insight Publicist, L’Oreal and Japan Tobacco working on global brands managing product development from conceptualization to the final phase of product launch.
Iretiogo who also happens to be the CEO ProTouch Janitors is an alumna of the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University where she studied Strategic Marketing Management and the University of Lagos where she studied English Language.
